innatalism.
Innatalism is a narrative typing game about growing a baby in your bathtub by talking to it. The way you choose to talk determines how your baby grows, and the way your baby grows determines how their story ends.

CONCEPT & IDENTITY
'innatalism' is an exploration of how human beings pass on our ideas to our children. Inspired by "innatism" (the theory that people are born with pre-existing concepts, knowledge, and ideas) and the phenomena of speaking to babies while they are in the womb, the intent was to subvert the typical "follow the prompt" methodology of typing games by giving the player the freedom to disobey. We wanted to analogize the relationship between the player and the system to the relationship between children and the ideas projected onto them as they grow. We also wanted to represent the juxtapositions around birth and pregnancy - wonder and disgust, appreciation and resentment, responsibility and independence.| Updated | 6 days ago |

That is amazing! Let me know if you can recreate it because it sounds awesome.

What a brilliant game. Thanks.
Thanks so much for the high praise!
This game made me realize I might need a new keyboard. 10/10
Holy crap! I can't wait to experiment more with the text. I only followed along. But it gave me a sense of dread I don't usually get from media. Ten out of ten game.
Thank you so much!
