I loved working on this project - it was an exciting opportunity to practice 'games in strange places' as well as unconventional game design. The process of designing individual gadgets that could be quickly and casually engaged with, while also all coming together as a whole, was totally different to sitting down at a whiteboard or a computer and planning a more traditional game. This project taught me a lot about how people's attitudes towards unexpected magic circles, willingness to engage, and how to adapt public spaces in safe and fun ways. Our team worked hard to turn a space that was traditionally used for business into something a little bit more fun, and I am proud to say we got decent results!
